I got the solution people. just do the following and all will work just fine
For Linux/Unix users
1) download javacomm for and specify linux
2) extract the file
3) copy javax.comm.properties(aparently its located in the docs folder) paste in in the jar folder(where the comm.jar file is located)
4) then just add the comm.jar to your class file.
and you are good to go.
5) Enjoy the coding.
