Listing of files in a zip file in Mac OS X.

You can use the /usr/bin/zipinfo tool for looking at the contents of a zip file. Find a zip file on your machine, and try running zipinfo in the Terminal like this (-1 is dash-one, not dash-el):

# /usr/bin/zipinfo -1 /Users/vilyams/myfile.zip
greatfile.rtf
swellfile.txt
magnificent.pdf
